Ohana Parental Assessment Centre
A Residential Family Centre is where parents stay for approximately 12 weeks so that they can undergo a parenting assessment.
We provide onsite specialists services with experienced multi-disciplinary teams of social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, drug and alcohol workers and family support workers.
We undertake parenting assessments and provides intensive interventions to help parents develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to provide a safe and loving environment for their children.
Our purpose-built residential centres offer outstanding facilities, tailor-made support and continuity of care when families return home. We also undertake assessment and intervention programmes in the community for families who do not require a residential placement.
Nobody is left behind and forgotten.

From the moment I arrived at Ohana Parental Assessment Centre unit, I was greeted with warmth and compassion.
